Volunteer Work

Regional treasurer for the Christian Congregation in the United States, 02-2001 to 09-2008

As a member of the board, I oversee fiscal matters of the Southeast region, which includes churches from South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania; I provide monthly and annual budgets.  Create and implements balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.  I also ensure development and board review of financial policies and procedures.  In my position, I oversee 14 local administrators.  I work together with the Regional Auditors to ensure proper business ethics and management of facilities.

National IT reform

  • Currently, the Christian Congregation is upgrading its network infrastructure thought the United States, for a total of 69 congregations.  I am currently one of two project managers leading this project.
  • We are currently installing a new forest consisting of 12 servers and two backup units and 240 workstations, all servers will be running windows server 2008R2 and the clients will be running windows 7 ultimate.
  • The overall goal of this project is to integrate all 69 congregations into the same financial database, email system, and web site.
  • When this project has completed all users of the CCUS will have remote and VPN access to the network and they will be able to use a vast range of software and CPU resources to archive the congregation needs.  (Project Completed as of 02/12/2015)
